Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator

Coastal Apex Ventures LLC operates Coastal Peptides. This policy covers information handled through the storefront, bag, contact and privacy forms, and enabled order services. Contact support@coastalpeps.org or write to 801 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL. Third-party services, including the hosting platform’s sign-in and Stripe, also have their own privacy policies.

2. Information collected

We collect information you provide, information generated by site use, and information necessary to handle transactions and requests.

• Shopping bag: a random browser/session identifier, selected products, quantities, promotion code, cart revision, and update time.
• Contact requests: name, email, topic, message, included product/order details, request reference, and submission time.
• Privacy requests: email, request type, optional name/reference/details, authority confirmation, request reference, review status, and submission time. Verification correspondence may also be retained.
• Enabled orders: order reference, cart contents and prices, payment mode/status, checkout references, timestamps, and information needed for payment and fulfillment. Stripe and fulfillment providers process necessary contact, billing, shipping, and payment details. The store does not receive full card numbers or security codes.
• Technical information: hosting/security services may process IP address, browser/device details, request URLs, timestamps, and error/security events. Short-lived abuse counters may use an IP address or random cart identifier.
• Browser preferences: cookie-notice acknowledgement and motion settings stored on your device, not advertising profiles.

3. Purposes

We use information to maintain your bag; process and support enabled orders; coordinate fulfillment; answer product and COA enquiries; handle returns and privacy requests; detect abuse and fraud; troubleshoot and secure the site; and meet accounting, tax, dispute, and other legal obligations.

The current storefront does not run advertising campaigns, behavioral profiling, analytics tracking, a newsletter signup, or automated decisions determining eligibility for a significant service. Privacy-form information is not used to market to you. Do not include sensitive research information, medical information, passwords, payment credentials, or identity documents in a general form.

4. Sources and disclosures

Sources include you, your browser, the hosting/security platform, and enabled payment, fulfillment, and delivery providers. We disclose information reasonably needed for a recipient’s role or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

• Hosting and database providers operate the site, store records, and provide security/reliability services.
• Stripe processes enabled payments, fraud checks, and transaction support under its privacy policy.
• When configured, Resend processes email addresses and transactional message contents to send order confirmations and shipping updates. Optional Pushover alerts to store operators contain order references, pack counts and totals; buyer delivery addresses are not included in these phone alerts.
• The supplier/fulfillment partner and carriers receive details needed to fulfill orders. Coastal does not claim to manufacture the products.
• Google Fonts supplies typefaces and may receive connection information, including IP address and request details, when serving font files.
• Professional advisers, authorities, or another party may receive relevant records for legal obligations, lawful requests, protection of rights, or a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.

5. Sale, sharing, and tracking

This storefront does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. No advertising pixels or analytics cookies are installed. We do not knowingly sell or share information about minors.

Global Privacy Control is recognized in Cookie settings as an opt-out preference. Since sale and advertising sharing are not enabled, there is no such tracking to disable. The same no-advertising-tracking behavior applies to Do Not Track signals. Essential shopping/security functions continue. If optional tracking is added, the notice and required choices or consent will be updated before it is enabled.

6. Cookies and local preferences

The essential cart cookie lasts up to 30 days and contains a random identifier. The cookie-notice acknowledgement is recognized for up to 180 days; the motion preference remains until changed or cleared. Owner sign-in uses a separate essential session cookie lasting up to eight hours. The Cookie Policy lists these functions and provider processing.

The banner describes actual storage use, not permission for advertising. Reopen Cookie settings in the footer or clear preferences through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may stop the bag and order-reference features from working.

7. Retention

We retain information only as reasonably needed for its purposes, including open enquiries, fulfillment, chargebacks, accounting, fraud prevention, privacy compliance, and legal claims. The period depends on the record, purpose, unresolved issues, and applicable law; there is no single deadline for every record.

Cart-cookie expiration does not automatically erase server records. Inactive carts and support messages are reviewed for deletion when no longer needed. The current preview does not perform scheduled automatic deletion of those records. You can request deletion through the privacy form or email.

Application abuse counters expire after approximately two minutes and are cleared during subsequent rate-limited requests. Hosted logs and provider records follow provider retention arrangements. Order/payment records and evidence documenting a privacy response may remain where required or permitted; we explain applicable limits when responding. Backups may retain information until their normal replacement cycle and should not be used for unrelated purposes.

8. Choices and privacy rights

Request access, correction, deletion, information about our practices, or help with a privacy concern. Depending on your location and the law applicable to the business, rights may also include portability, opting out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising, restricting certain uses, and appealing a decision. We do not claim every state privacy law applies to this business; we handle requests under the requirements that do apply.

Use Request to delete data for deletion or another listed action, or email support@coastalpeps.org. No account is required. Authorized agents may apply with evidence of authority if needed. Verification requests will be proportionate; do not send unnecessary sensitive documents through the form.

For CCPA-governed requests, we respond within 45 calendar days, with a permitted extension communicated when applicable. Other legally applicable periods govern other requests. If we cannot fulfill a request, we explain why and any appeal method. Select the appeal option or email support to request reconsideration. You may contact your state privacy regulator or attorney general. We will not unlawfully discriminate because you exercise privacy rights.

9. Deletion and exceptions

Submission records a request for review; it does not immediately erase data or cancel an order. After appropriate verification, we identify the records covered. Exceptions may require or permit retention to complete a transaction, maintain security, comply with law, or establish or defend claims. We explain applicable exceptions rather than call retained information deleted.

Clearing browser storage removes local preferences and identifiers, not database, payment-provider, or fulfillment records. Where required, we instruct relevant service providers to act on a verified request. A third-party service may also offer its own privacy channel.

10. Security and processing location

We use measures intended to protect information, including restricted database access, secure transport where deployed, request validation, and abuse controls. No internet system is completely secure. Contact support if you believe information or an order reference has been misused.

The business and fulfillment operation are US based. Data processing may occur in the US or other locations where hosting and service providers operate. US shipment origin does not mean every data-processing activity occurs in the US.

11. Children

The store is intended for adults obtaining laboratory research materials and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit information from children under 13. Contact support@coastalpeps.org if you believe a child supplied information so we can investigate and act appropriately.

12. Updates and contact

This private preview records contact and privacy requests in the database. Automatic email delivery is not connected; the on-screen reference is your submission receipt, and no confirmation email is promised. The support email is an additional contact route.
